Common Teal (Anas crecca)

 A breeding species across much of Eurasia, migrating south for winter to Southern Europe, Africa, and South Asia. It prefers shallow, vegetation-rich waters, marshes, and floodplains. Its small size and fast flight make it easy to recognize, especially during flock migrations.

In Hungary, it is a protected species.

According to the IUCN Red List, its status is LC (Least Concern).
