  5. Damaging or collecting plants and animals within the Zoo is prohibited.
  6. Bringing dogs, cats, or other pets onto the premises is prohibited.

  10. Photography on the premises of the institution is permitted solely for personal use. Photography or video recording for commercial purposes is permitted only with the authorization of the director of the Szeged Zoo.

  12. Visitors are required to leave the Zoo premises by closing time at the latest—that is, within one hour of the ticket office closing—without being asked to do so.
  13. In the event of any complaint, the visitor is entitled to record their comments in the complaint book, which the institution is obligated to investigate and notify the complainant of the results within 30 days of the report. The complaint book may be requested from the cashier. The cashier is required to immediately notify the institution’s director—or, in the director’s absence, the deputy director—of any entry made in the complaint book.

In the event of a sudden storm, if it is not safe to leave the area immediately, please seek shelter (in one of the open houses marked on the map)! The Szeged Zoo assumes no liability for injuries or damage caused by trees (e.g., falling branches).
  18. Representatives of print and electronic media may only conduct interviews or record video and audio material on the premises of the Zoo with the park’s permission.
  19. The institution assumes no financial or other liability for damages resulting from failure to comply with the obligations listed in points 1–18. Those who violate the rules may be asked to leave the premises; if they refuse, the police must be notified. Legal action will be taken against those responsible for damages.
  20. To prevent accidents, only employees of the Szeged Zoo may use electric scooters on the premises, in accordance with our established rules. Visitors are prohibited from bringing such devices onto the premises.
