A small, peaceful ornamental fish native to Southeast Asia. With a size of only 2–2.5 cm, it is among the smallest members of the carp family. It has a distinctive dark, wedge-shaped marking on its side, which gives the species its name. It is a schooling fish, so it is recommended to keep at least 8–10 individuals together.
